Course Description
This course is designed to provide the professional driver with information and understanding of FMCSA’s new CSA 2010 initiative; and how drivers’ actions will impact their safety performance evaluation and the Safety Ratings of their employer. This course explains CSA 2010 and shows drivers why they must practice compliance with driving and safety regulations, for the benefit of their careers and their company. This new training program focuses on the heart of CSA 2010 – the seven (7) Behavioral Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories (BASICs).

- The driver’s role in improving, maintaining, or degrading their companies, and their own, safety fitness evaluation.
- What drivers can do to prevent “high point” violations and have “good” inspections go into the Safety Measurement System (SMS).
